A NEW SEASON

I sit here and I gaze out on the world,

Looking up at the clouds, which are white like pearls.

It's beauty engulfs me and it's purpose amazes me,

The view, brings a sense of freedom.

As I sit, I feel the soft breeze brush my cheeks,

I smell the fresh soil, as the sunlight, pours it's love over it.

I hear the laughter from every angle of the park and from there, I know a new season is here.

I see the flowers starting to blossom,

What such beautiful colours, before my eyes.

The grass is fresh and bright green,

An incredible sight, ever to be seen.

This new season, seems different from the others,

It's filling me with such joy and determination to change and grow in areas that has been holding me back.

A new season, means restoration and reflection,

Breathing in positivity and exhaling negativity.

Filling the mind, with ideas and dreams,

And using, every pebble, as a stepping stone, to reach that vision.

A new season, means growth and elevation,

Leaving no room, for self doubt or disbelief.

This is the time, where I will believe in my abilities and I will not be defined by capabilities.

For every setback, that I've encountered over the years, stops now,

I am ready for this comeback and I am ready for this season.

This is my time, this is my season, to be where God calls me to be,

And to move in that direction, starts with me...
