Love is such a beautiful thing to have in our lives. Loving ourselves first, so that we can have someone else to share it with. When God makes a way, for someone to cross our paths, leading that relationship into something more, provides such a heartfelt feeling.

Marriage has its ups and downs, just as any relationship. The road can be rocky and it can be challenging. Therefore, it takes a lot of compromisation, communication, understanding, listening, patience and most of all faith.

Why God's Word Is Important

God constantly reminds us, to keep him in the centre of our relationships, so that he can help us to connect with love on a deeper level. For his love for us, is a gateway to unlocking barriers, doubts and fears and his word is the foundation of hope, that sets our relationships apart from the world.

It's easy to get lost in the world and base our status and goals on society, but when God is in the middle of every trial, he can strengthen and protect our relationships, more than we can, by ourselves. For his promises to us, is that he'll never leave nor forsake us, so whatever comes our way in our relationships or marriages, God will be there, to uplift and unite us.

Praying for one another and praying together is special, as it builds and grows a spiritual bond, which is just as important.

Here are some scriptures, which I hope you find uplifting and warming, if you're starting out in a relationship or entering marriage. May God's guidance, remind you of your purpose as an individual and as a partner.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank you for loving us, so that we may know love. We thank you for the person you have placed in our lives. May you be the fortress of our relationships, that keeps us together. May you guide, guard and cover us from anything, that is not meant to interfere in what you have put together. May you shower us with strength, humility and favor as we work through the ups, the downs, the highs and the lows. May we remember that good things takes time. So whenever the enemy tries to tear our relationships apart, may we resist and reject it's plans. May we be patient and understanding with one another, so that we can build and restore what's in our hearts. May we listen, comfort and elevate one another, so that we can be united as one. May you touch every relationship right now and keep them under your care, in Jesus name I pray. Amen. xx
