Let Me Tell You

Let me tell you, about this wonderful woman in my life,

A role model, who's been a source of strength, through some strife.

A motivator, a great listener and my confidant too,

Every word that I write, is all so true.

She is a beautiful lady; with a heart of gold,

Who has travelled through, many stories untold.

Yet, the love within her, keeps shining out,

Because unity and family, is what she's about.

For she carries the spirit; of patience and kindness,

She loves and cherishes, other people's happiness.

She does all she can, to make us smile,

Even if she had to travel, thousands of miles.

The sincerity she holds, can never compare,

To the heartache, she's had to endure and to bear.

Because, although she has loved and lost,

Her compassion, is heartfelt and can never forced.

She is honest, in her actions and words,

Every advice that is given, is considerately heard.

She goes above and beyond, even when she's hurting,

She doesn't stop helping, for she is always nurturing.

Her children, her grandkids with time and affection,

For they are her pride and joy, they bring her self satisfaction.

To see them laugh, love and fulfil their dreams,

Brings her contentment, just like the ripples in the sea.

Let me tell you, about this amazing woman, I know,

She has supported me, encouraged me and have watched me grow.

She is my biggest fan, always there for me,

Who has guided me, to become the best that I can be.

For you are a great inspiration,

A fantastic Mother and an awesome person.
